Finishing off the chair today. The glue had dried over night so the seat was solid. There was a big crack at the back where the leg went through, so to secure that a bow tie made of oak was inserted to stop the crack expanding. The whole chair was waxed and a brush attached to a drill was used to buff it up and make it shine and smooth. The whole thing was reassembled and wedges were inserted into the legs and arms to lock the chair together.
