Hi all.
I hope everyone has been keeping well these past few months. I imagine like me it has been hard for everyone.
As you are all aware the government announced salons are able to return as of the 4th july. I am making plans to enable a safe return to everyones homes. The problem for mobile hairdressers is we don't know when the restriction for going into other people's houses will be lifted. It might be early July, but we just don't know. The fines, if we get caught breaking the rules are hefty. So although I would love to take bookings, none of us know when we will be able to honour them.
Social distancing is an impossible task with hairdressing and all beauty treatments, so to risk spread of this virus i have purchased face masks, shields, gloves and disposable aprons that will be worn in your homes to keep you and myself safe. I have disposable gowns and towels for you all to wear whilst hairdressing and can supply a mask if required. I am well stocked up on hand sanitizer and disinfectant to clean all tools when in your home. Everything will be in one trolley which will minimise me having to place anything on your surfaces. All tools will be cleaned before and after use.
I know lot of people I see are families so I ask those of you where possible to have treatment done individually or to be 2 metres away.
My priority is to keep you as safe as possible, I have implemented a number of changes which I would like to make you aware of. During lockdown I have completed the Coronavirus Infection Prevention and Control course which is accredited by the Guild of Professional Beauty Therapists Ltd. And earned a certificate for The BARBICIDE®️ COVID-19 Certification Program.
I have increased the frequency of cleaning during client visits and I can ensure you that all tools and equipment are disinfected in line with the specific manufacturers instructions for your safety
Treatments available:
●For the foreseeable I will be returning only doing hairdressing as I feel It is the safest of all treatments to perform. This is subject to change as and when restrictions are lifted more.
Appointments:
●If I feel ill or have symptoms of C0VlD-19, I will self-isolate immediately. This may mean that I have to cancel your appointment at short notice. I appreciate that this may be inconvenient but it is done entirely for your own safety. If your appointment is cancelled you will be able to re-book at a later date.
●If you or any of the people you live with feel ill or display any symptoms of C0VlD-19 please advise me as soon as possible and I will not come to your appointment.
You will not be charged for any appointments which you miss due to COVID-19.
Payment:
●You can pay for your appointment via bank transfer or paypal prior to your appointment.
Or I have a sum up card machine for payments that cannot be made online.
All of these procedures have been implemented for your safety and mine. I will continue to take advice from the Government and the NHS regarding safe practice and will amend them as necessary.
There will be a list of all regular clients who will be booked in first, if you are not on it please get in touch. Everyone else will then be able to book appointments.
Thanks you for your understanding and I hope to see you all again soon.
