Water Based Paints: Just a few notes, a little more expensive but worth it, saves money on brush cleaner and restorer, brushes last so much longer, so easy to clean. Saves money on mini rollers and paint trays as they can also be washed spotlessly clean. The finish is just as good as oil based paints although not quite as durable but with the drying time so short it's not such a chore to touch up or repaint, no strong smell that lingers for days and doesn't discolour. The brilliant white is truly white and stays white. Touch dry within an hour or two, although this does mean you need to work faster or do all your brush detail, let it dry then use your roller on the larger areas. Not so many runs but when you do my tip would be not to try brushing it out, wait for the paint to dry sand it out then touch up. We all find change challenging but I have to say I am really impressed with the water based products I have been using, they've come a long way, so many great advantages.
