Demand has been incredible over the past few months, and as you can see from this video, the shop floor is packed!

Our monthly All-Staff meetings are evolving.

We still cover the essentials - company performance, new machine installs, thank you's, colleague recognitions and other company news —but we also like a bit of competition. This month we had our regular 6-team quiz, hosted by Gary, but also a BBQ cooked by our resident 'master chef' Chris (and we had a 100% survival rate).

We tried a darts contest last month, a BBQ this month... who knows what’s next?

A huge thank you to our long standing customer Andy Thornton for inviting me to join them at York Races on Friday; a fantastic venue where we've collaborated to supply furniture over the years.
The hospitality was excellent and with them as race sponsors we all enjoyed some time in the Paddock.

Double the talent! We’re thrilled to introduce Kevin and Andrew, the newest experts in our Laminate & Veneer Department.
Not only do they bring years of specialist skill to the business, but they also arrive as a proven team with 17 years of shared experience. They really have hit the ground running. Welcome to the team, gents.

Christmas shutdown and a fond farewell.

We're working hard until close of business on Tuesday 23rd December. We'll then be closed for the Christmas period and back at work on Friday 2nd January.

This Christmas we bid farewell to a colleague we're all very fond of, Banny, pictured below on Yorkshire Day. Paul Banthorpe has worked here since 1994 and before that with other recently retired colleagues at A.B. Rose. We'll miss you Banny but we know you need to spend more time improving your golf handicap and betting on some fast horses. Thank you for all your hard work and we wish you a blissful retirement.
