Have you taken a good look at your dining chairs lately?
These lovely chairs were definitely worth an upcycle - not easy to find chairs made so well brand new - that are affordable these days!
Just a few photos to show the process, I had to wear a mask on stripping them due to the dust that had accumulated over the years.
I re built the structure with new hessian straps and sheeting, foam to replace the 19th Century horse hair/coir fibre, wadding, and finally the beautiful new fabric was fixed in place.
Maybe surprising to see how much work is actually involved

November commissions. Window seat cushion using two beautiful fabrics sourced by the customer - the centre panel the main focus but too small to cover entirely so a little creative thinking and designing needed here.
Set of garden furniture cushions in sea blue buccara fabric. Luxuriously soft and such a beautiful colour.
