Please be careful everyone. Report from TVP:

⚠️Reports of men impersonating police officers⚠️

We have received reports of three men impersonating police officers in Newbury today.

The three men stopped and searched a number of boys, claiming they were police officers enforcing a Section 60 Order.

The incidents occurred near the Riverside Community Centre, The Swan Pub, and Premier Convenience Store in Shaw.

We would like to reassure the community that there is no Section 60 Order in the town at this time.

All the offenders are described as white, in their mid-twenties and about 6ft tall.

One of the offenders was wearing black cargo trousers, another was wearing a black-coloured wind breaker.

If anyone approaches you claiming to be a police officer, please ask them for identification. If they refuse to provide you with identification or you have any concerns then please call 999 to verify their identification.
