I’ve just delivered this cheeky little pine trunk which is going to house Lego !
I’ve seen the Lego and it’s top quality 😂
The top was stripped and waxed to colour match to the rest of the body. I used fine wire wool and beeswax to fill the dinks and give a lovely sheen to the body. Happy days.

Do you remember this one I started a while back ? There were some delays thanks to Stevie Wonder crashing into me and writing the car off and dear old Lexi dog having major surgery. Still, it was good to get back into the workshop and get polishing again. This was a piece from London dating from about the 1920’s that we thought might be beyond repair. However, we gave it a go and it’s come out beautifully. The marks from the wormery infirmary were all left in as a nod to its life and after polishing we aged it back. It’ll be good for a few more years yet ! Happy days.

Finished and delivered the second table in as many weeks. This one was hand stripped so no need for chemicals which is always my preference where possible. We finished the one in Osmo Polyx to give it a new lease of life. Happy days.

Another special table done and dusted at the new improved Pieshelf ! Massive sentimental value on this one with orders to leave all the dinks and marks and as much patina in as possible.
It was a tricky strip with layers of thick varnish. Still, we got there in the end and good old Osmo polyx did the rest. Happy days.
