St. Andrews Square - Bespoke reception desk and signage board finished in natural white oak and cameo white 'corian'.

Project completed before Christmas in Edinburgh. This was designed, made then fitted for an international language school and was the fourth project we have worked on together.

Design Resolution.

One facet of the business we very rarely share or post about is design resolution. At Boe Furniture, we work with various Architects, Contractors and Interior Designers on all manner of specialist joinery projects. Hotels, Orchestral halls, Private residences and Offices which this stairwell is a part of. This is an ongoing project in collaboration with a high end joinery firm.

Scheduled to complete this summer.

2021- The year for 'Growth'.

2020 was a challenging year for everyone.
At Boe Furniture ltd. it meant we had to diversify.

The business started 2020 with a full order book of commercial products, projects and prototyping for new pieces. Coronavirus hit hard and things stalled. Clients withdrew business and projects were shelved.

With so much uncertainty the model changed.
Private residential grew out of necessity rather than design. We have not turned any work away in the current climate and worked on various projects. Some that we can share and some we cannot, unfortunately.

We have produced items for various Universities, Charities and private clients as well as designing products for Architects. During this time we have also designed and delivered house renovations from bespoke doors, kitchens, built in wardrobes, bespoke desks, hidden offices, dining tables, chairs and benches to simple window reveals.

In addition to this we launched an online homeware shop as well as developed a new range of furniture for the home and office, which will launch later this year.

2020 was humbling for many reasons, however it has also allowed for new relationships to be built and existing ones to be nurtured; to strip back the process and rediscover the love of making. For those reasons alone, it has been a positive one.

So it has been a busy few weeks of late. Here are just a few images of some recent residential items. Designed, made and installed by Boe Furniture.

Fitted Valchromat and solid oak bedside alcove storage units.
Fitted wardrobes with internal drawers and traditionally made tulipwood solid door's, hand painted to sample.

At Boe Furniture, any concept can be delivered, from sketches, 2D CAD layouts, 3D modelling, visualisation, 3D printing and prototyping. All materiality including timber, metal work, glass and upholstery are used to create unique furniture.

Furniture that is for the future, as well as the now.
