Colin has dedicated 18 years of service to us here at Swansea Timber in the Lock-Tech Division but today, on the scorcher that is it, we'll be saying goodbye and thank you for all your hard work. We hope you have a long and happy retirement Colin! Perhaps an after-work dip in the sea so you don't melt before getting to enjoy it.

Heatwaves are hard to handle at the best of times, but when you don't have the means to keep cool it becomes unbearable fast.

Here's 3 ways you can stay cool this summer!

1. Flexi tubs full of ice, water, or both are ideal for cooling drinks, bathing feet, and even dunking little ones and pets (supervised of course).

2. Faithfull spray bottles filled with water are a great idea if you need a more contained means of cooling yourself. Spritz some water and stand in front of a fan to feel the refreshing chill as the water evaporates off you taking the heat with it. The nozzle can also be adjusted to provide a fine jet or a wide fan.
