🚶♂️🚶♀️🏰 *The Williams Family Trek: 77 Miles to Bamburgh for a Life‑Changing Adventure*
Next summer, our son Harry (16) will be taking on the adventure of a lifetime — a 4‑week expedition to Borneo in July 2027, where he’ll be involved in environmental, social and conservation volunteering projects, and even earn his PADI scuba qualification.
But the journey starts now.
Harry has committed to raising over £5,000 to fund the trip himself — and he’s already been working hard through school and community fundraising.
Now it’s our turn to step up alongside him.
👣 On 18 July 2026, as a family, we’ll be hiking 77 miles from our front door in Ashbrooke, Sunderland all the way to Bamburgh Castle.
*Four days. Up to 22 miles a day. One incredible coastline. One determined family.*
We’ll be joined by Harry’s sisters Darcey and Elsie, plus at points by our pint‑sized (but huge‑hearted!) dog Ziggy — and we’d love friends and family to walk a few miles with us too.
