Good news!
We've struck diamonds! After gold plating all of our vehicles to increase visibility to keep in line with health and safety standards, we're now looking into diamond-encrusted tyres to help with gripping icy roads during the winter months.

Of course, we'll be waking up to reality again tomorrow (the second of April) and digging up nothing but stone!

CUSTOMER ANNOUNCEMENT
Monday 5th January

The shop will be open from 10am-2pm only. Unfortunately, we won’t have any fresh produce in but if you are in the nearby area and in need of any other bits and pieces to keep you going, please pop in by. If you are in the Quoyloo area and unable to make your way to the shop, please do get in touch and we will see what we can do to help.

Due to the current road conditions and the forecasted weather, the rest of Isbister Brothers as well as Gairsty Quarry will remain closed.

We are hoping to be back to normal service on Tuesday 6th January but will review this again on Monday afternoon.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding.

We know it's the tiny minority of people that don't, but it's really hard to write a guide that doesn't sound like we're being condescending. So please don't be upset if you think it's a bit insulting - we're really trying not to be!

Spring's on it's way, and so we thought it was time for some bonny pictures!
We've been busy - most of our aggregate bins are a healthy size, we have a good smattering of concrete blocks on the go, and we've recently been supplying a few projects around Orkney with building stone.
Get in touch if you're needing some stone - while the weather's good!
