A fully loaded catio we have just completed in Banbury for some very lucky cats. This space allows them to enjoy the fresh air in perfect safety without their owners worrying about that busy road out front! The area is packed with things to keep them occupied, there are multi level boardwalks, a climbing tree with seating platforms, hanging basket beds, a rope bridge, roof suspended tubes to allow them to hide and peek, artificial grass to bask on and gravel to roll in. The polycarbonate roof allows the catio to be used whatever the weather but also allows the natural light in so they can’t enjoy the sunshine throughout the entire space when the sun is shining!

A big day for us today, handing over this amazing garden to our client. This was a huge project, abandoned by a so called landscaper, who had left a half finished but incorrectly laid patio, a failed catio project, unsuitable and out of square steps, buried under nearly 100 tonnes of dig off spoil, bags of rubbish and abandoned tools. We cleared all this, discovering the garden was held up by an old concrete garage dug into the ground. So a property retainer was installed along with a soak away and french drain system, the slabs were lifted and cleaned, clay proof membranes and properly compacted sub base were installed along with new fencing and sleepers, steps were built on suitable footings, patios and pathways were laid, a fully loaded catio was built and artificial lawn was laid.

We love how this space has been transformed from an eye sore to a fully usable and safe space for the whole family, pets included!

A beautiful little graphite block paved area complete the bottom of a lovely garden. We removed a failing lawn area because of the overhanging trees and installed these multi size graphite pavers with a contrasting charcoal paver edge.

A nice little sleeper retainer and concrete patio job from last spring time that I didn’t post at the time. I think we could all do with a little weather like this right now!

A quick video tour of our latest project, a blank canvas new build garden in Long Marston. We scraped back the whole garden, installed single sleeper retainers around the outside and around the cabin base to create the perfect levels, built the shed and the cabin, installed ACO drains, a membrane and a 150mm compacted type 1 sub base and layed 45m2 of Fossil Buff 900x600 sandstone slabs with a blue brick edging, installed new blended loam top soil and fresh turf.
