Well I’m very conscious that it’s been a while since touching base, 10 months to be exact! And what a 10 months it’s been.

I feel incredibly fortunate to say it’s been another busy year for me and my paintbrush so I thought I share just a few of the jobs that have been in the diary…

Throw back to January a gorgeous apartment newly purchased by the owners and wanting to put their own stamp on it. So we started with this spacious open plan living area fixing and putting right all walls ceilings and woodwork before finishing in their chosen colours. A bold colour choice that absolutely worked. Keep you’re eyes peeled for what happened next to the kitchen…..

“July 21” Hall Stairs and landing. Hand rail and stair strings given the new look using Valspar Blend 700 interior Eggshell Tempest Teapot. Walls prepared and finished in Dulux Rock Salt leaving the area looking bright with sharp edges.

Summer 2021. So I teamed up with Ilmington School again through part of the summer to work on phase 2 of the giving the school a refresh. Some of the bathrooms were included in this phase. Areas in these bathrooms needing good amounts of preparation, staining blocking around sinks and toilets and finishing with a fresh grey vynal emulsion meaning it’s easy to keep clean. All woodwork prepared and finished with oil based eggshell. Job complete and looking sharp for the new term and the children returning

It’s been a busy few months and we have also had the school summer holidays thrown into the mix of madness but I wouldn’t have it any other way! A project from a early in the month. A kitchen being bought back to life, originally just the walls, ceiling and woodwork to be taken back and painted. After a great discussion with my customers they were open to the suggestion of bringing the kitchen unit doors in with the new fresh look too! So together with the original plan all unit doors were sanded back and given the sharpe new look too. Love nothing more than sharing my ideas too with the customers ideas and seeing this end result! Farrow and Ball Skimming Stone on all walls and unit doors and draws, white emulsion on the ceiling and white oil based eggshell on all woodwork including the 2 kitchen doors looking Fresh 👌🏻
