This week the glass curtain wall has been installed and some of the bricks for the internal walls have been laid. Also the trees to the front of the factories have received a tidy up!

Lots of over the last couple of weeks...
The concrete floor has now dried, the bricks for constructing the internal walls have arrived and the steelworks are in place for the mezzanine!

We couldn't resist a second update. Our Brigg site has been a hive of activity this week and there's just one wall to go. The enormity of the space is now evident - yes they are full sized machines!

New building update: Storms Ali and Bronagh's high winds caused a slight delay to proceedings but now we are happy to announce that we have a roof on our new building!
Work is now STORMING ahead!

The staff here at QK have raised a total of £110.62 for Macmillan Cancer Support 💰
This amount could pay for a Macmillan social care worker for a day helping patients, family members and carers.

Sell cake for Macmillan at The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning this September – bake it or fake it, at work or at home and make a difference to people facing cancer.

We've had a great morning at QK eating cake for two very worthwhile causes...
Firstly, today is Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) , the annual celebration of responsible forestry. QK has just been successfully audited for FSC certification for another year.

To raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support we held a raffle and many of our staff members have been busy baking!
Accounts are working on their sums to tot up how much we have raised in total...

Top Down Construction at its best!
This week has seen excavations ready for the attenuation tanks to be installed, whilst preparations have begun for the roof to go on next week.

Piles of progress!!
During our summer shut down approximately 120 piles were driven in to a depth of 7 metres. This week the concrete has been poured and pile caps added.
