After a lovely week off, I’m back on the brushes! 🎨

First up is this beautiful Malaysian kist, transformed from an orange pine finish into an elegant piece using Fusion Mineral Paint in Cashmere. 🤍

The soft, warm neutral shade has given this piece a nice fresh look.!! 🫶
Finished with the original ring pull and I’ve added ‘side handles’ for a touch of character.

🔍 Finding a makers stamp 🫶

Wylie & Lochhead was a well-known Scottish furniture manufacturer and retailer based in Glasgow. The company was particularly prominent from the late 19th century through the early 20th century.

It was a fond Au revoir for this vintage oak bureau as it made its way back from France 🇫🇷 to Aberdeen.

Belonging to my customers mother we have updated this beauty in Fusions Cast Iron & highlight contrast to the feet & pigeon holes in Coal Black.
New solid black hardware.

The vintage clothes rail has been updated in Fusions Wellington with Cast Iron rails. 🖤

Customer’s own vintage bureau ✍️has been transformed into statement piece. After full preparation and minor repairs, it was refinished in Fusion Mineral Paint’s Midnight Blue — a deep, sophisticated navy 💙💙

The original hardware was replaced with antique brass k***s, that perfectly complements the rich blue finish. The result is a piece that feels both classic and contemporary, ready to go off back home 🏠 to Laurencekirk

These pieces were done 4 months ago for my spare bedroom. Both have been fully prepared and painted in Fusions Parchment - a soft subtle white.

I’m about to start an extension & renovations at my house so selling off a few pieces at bargain prices.

This pine chest of drawers and tallboy started life as part of my stock inventory and have now been transformed into a bespoke set for my customer. 🤍

Finished in Fusions Little Lamb 🐑 this warm grey was chosen as their colour along with the stunning crystal/silver k***s with textured ribbed drawer fronts. 🩶

Heading off to a new 🏠 in Barras.

Freshen up Friday 🤍🤍🤍

From boring yellow pine to clean, crisp & modern.

This double bed frame has had a new lease of life. Originally belonging to my customers mother-in-law she decided to have it ‘spruced up’

Cleaned, sanded & primed to cancel out knots then given 3 coats of Cashmere 🤍 and finally finished with a coat of polyurethane for extra durability

Heading off back home 🏠 tomorrow

Chosen from my stock inventory & heading to a new home 🏠 in Chapleton is this wooden filing cabinet.

After full prep it’s been finished in Fusions Oakham - A dark neutral grey, which is rich & earthy with undertones of warm brown and bronze. 🩶

New apothecary pulls & key tassel. Fully protected in Polyvine dead flat for some extra durability.
