The final two pieces from our returning customer’s solid oak John Lewis furniture — given a fresh new look in Fusion Willowbank, with the beautiful oak left natural and finished with Osmo Dead Flat Oil. 🖤

These solid oak John Lewis pieces have had a fresh new look with Fusion Willowbank, natural oak drawer fronts finished in Osmo Dead Flat Oil & new dark grey mushroom k***s. 🪵👌

Back home just outside Stonehaven tomorrow… while 3 & 4 come back with me! 🎨

What a difference! Heading back home to my customer in Aberdeen.

This chunky oak sideboard was a lovely solid piece, but that dark oak was definitely ready for a freshen up.

✨ Painted in Fusion Mineral Paint – Cashmere
🤎 Beautiful oak top stripped back & left natural, treated with Osmo oil
✨ New hardware to finish the look

Same sideboard… completely different feel. 😍

This table & 4 chairs were inherited from a family member, so definitely worth giving them a new lease of life rather than replacing them. ❤️

Stripped, prepped, painted and the seats completely refreshed — colour & fabric chosen by Hazel to tie in perfectly with her newly fitted kitchen.

All finished and off to its home in Milltimber 🏡

💙 A STAG MINSTREL SET WITH A STORY 💙

This beautiful full Stag Minstrel bedroom set has been a really special commission.

Belonging to my customer’s late dad, the full set was shipped all the way up to me from the Borders to be given a fresh new look in Fusions Paisley while keeping those precious memories attached to it. 🥰

Now completely transformed and ready for its next chapter, it’s heading to its new home in Kemnay. 🏡

This is exactly why I love what I do — furniture with history, memories and plenty more years left in it. ♻️🖌️

💙 Off to a New Home in Aberdeen 💙

A few weeks ago this beautiful mid-century G Plan sideboard was up for sale, and my customer absolutely loved it… it just wasn’t quite the right colour for his home.

Fast forward to today, and it’s been refinished in Midnight Blue (Navy) while keeping all of those stunning original teak details that make these pieces so special.

It’s always a pleasure creating something that’s tailored to a customer’s style.

A bench with memories… restored for many more years to come. ❤️

This memorial bench belonged to my customer’s mum and dad, so rather than replacing it, she chose to give it a new lease of life.

The old flaking paint was carefully sanded back before the entire bench was sealed with Zinsser B-I-N primer to create the perfect base for a long-lasting finish. It was then repainted in a timeless charcoal and grey colour scheme.

The one special touch is the turquoise panel behind the memorial plaque – a tribute to Mum, as turquoise was her favourite colour. A simple but meaningful detail 🩵🩵🩵

Heading back home to Newtonhill & will be sitting proudly on its beautifully newly decked area, it’s once again a place to pause, reflect and remember two very special people.

It’s always an honour to restore pieces that hold so much sentimental value. ❤️
