How beautiful is this colour ?

I love the name just as much . It’s called Ambleside .

Another Stag chest of drawers all painted in our clients colour choice and due to be delivered to Stokesley tomorrow.

This was the customers own very special piece of furniture but if you’d like one the same we have two in stock as well as the larger four over two drawers , the taller tallboy and the amazing Captains chest .
Matching bedsides and dressing tables in stock too if you are looking for a full bespoke bedroom refurbishment .

We deliver nationwide too so not a problem if you are a little further away .

This old pine desk has had a lot of love over the years .
After a Skip Rat makeover she’s as good as new .

We collected the desk , carefully relocated the spiders (she’d been stored in a garage for a while ) and set to work removing the old wax .
The Apprentice then sanded her back to bare wood including all the drawer sides .

Two coats of stain blocking primers and then painted in Portland Stone from The Little Greene Paint Company .

We used a water based tinted varnish from Polyvine on the top and left the old drill holes as requested as a lovely reminder of a very special person .
Gorgeous new cup handles in an aged brass from IronmongeryDirect finished this desk off to perfection .

Yes removing wax is a pain but we absolutely loved this project from start to finish .

Just shows that you don’t need to buy new furniture.

The Stag Tallboy has to be one of our most popular stock pieces as it has loads of storage but doesn’t take up too much floor space .

This one looks amazing painted in Beetlenut from Paint & Paper Library.
