Practicing the swirly milk with some of my favourite espresso beans! (‘Barn Raiser’ from Heart and Graft Roastery) I could wax lyrical about this blend, but ‘macadamia nut snickers’ is probably the best description.

I was going to post a photo of this with a lovely image of a finished coffee.. But I drank it! Ethiopian Hambela Natural from Heartland Roastery in Conwy, North Wales. Serious citrus notes with a really pleasurable brightness and light acidity in the cup. This is a genuinely stunning coffee.. Beautifully roasted too. NOM NOM! I’m off to make a second cup!

Staff meeting with the lovely Nova this morning.. She’s pulling SMOOTH shots like a champ and says that although she’s feeling the pressure.. 9 bar is easy to cope with!

Tomorrow we will be serving the 'Barnraiser' espresso blend. freshly roasted by Heart and Graft Coffee Roastery.

A wonderful mix of Brazilian Monte Carmelo, Indian Melkodige and Honduran Serendipia beans. This is one of the best blends we've ever put through our machine! Expect chocolate, macadamia nut and brown sugar notes with a fruity heart.

Marshall & Foxwell’s has moved on to pastures new! We have relocated to Marple Bridge, Cheshire and will be bringing our artisan coffee expertise with us.

Our lovely van has wisely decided the hills around here are best avoided and moved onto a new life in Hampshire.
