My customer asked if I could paint her wee jewellery cabinet to match her other furniture in her bedroom, this was a challenge, but glad to say she’s really happy with it!!

I’ve worked on quite a few bureaus in the past, some for commissions & some for sale. I’ve always loved working on them, but never done one for myself. So, here it is, my William Morris style bureau to fit in with our recently decorated room. I love it! (Think Mr Kwik Shifts does too! 😉)

4 years ago, my customer requested a quirky gin cabinet, we discussed colours, decoupaged etc. Then recently she got in touch again and advised me that she was changing her decor & the cabinet wouldn’t suit anymore.
She asked if I could update it to suit her new decor.
Her accessories were black with gold. The first 2 pics were when it was first painted 4 years ago, and the last 3, how I redid it. Thankfully my customer loved it! What a difference! 🥰🥰

This summer’s commission- dining table and 6 chairs (2 carvers)
This was a lot of work! Table (& 2 extensions) sanded back, bleached and whitewashed with Fusion mineral paint Raw Silk. Chairs and table leg painted with Fusion mineral paint Algonquin, detail painted with Raw silk & and finished with Fusion AntiquingGlaze. The chairs were reupholstered with fabric supplied by my customer.
