Carl Green - Sales Office Manager
Carl Green has been an integral part of Getley since 2012, marking an impressive 12-year journey with the business. With over 38 years of experience in the kitchen manufacturing industry, Carl brings unmatched expertise, knowledge, and dedication to his role.
Having started his career straight out of school, Carl’s professional path has been firmly rooted in the kitchen industry. He spent 23 years at Chamois Furnishings in Wolverhampton before moving on to further develop his career across the sector, navigating its challenges with resilience and passion.
Following his time at Chamois, Carl worked for several years at XY Made, where he continued to refine his skills in a busy sales office environment before finding his ideal fit at Getley. The opportunity to reconnect with familiar customers, along with his expertise in the Easy Quote system, made Carl the perfect addition to the team.
Since joining Getley, he has witnessed significant growth, particularly with the introduction of Alku, which he considers one of the company’s most transformative milestones.
As Sales Office Manager, Carl leads a talented team that ensures the sales process runs smoothly from start to finish. Together, they form the backbone of the sales office, handling every order with precision and care, no matter how complex.
Carl’s favourite part of the job is seeing challenging orders through to completion and turning customer ideas into beautifully crafted kitchen units.
Outside of work, Carl enjoys gardening, staying active, and has a deep appreciation for music, from 80s classics to classical compositions. A keen nature enthusiast, he is also a passionate supporter of sustainability initiatives, including “Saving the Bees”.
