I'm all about giving old but beautiful pieces of furniture a new lease of life and to give you a rea Hi I'm Mel , the furniture lady from Stafford. # # #

I just love to turn furniture that would once of been hidden, covered up or even thrown out a new lease of life and change it into a stunning bespoke piece. I pride myself in what i do to these old but still stunning pieces before they go to there new homes. I believe The Devil is in the detail so preparation is the key. All the furniture that we hand paint is firstly stripped and sanded back, all

fixtures ( handles hinges etc ) removed and primed. We then paint in a colour of your choosing from the Farrow & Ball and Laura Ashley eggshell range. The service I offer is not only to breath new life into pieces that I've sourced but to also give your own furniture a new lease of life. Whoops

This came to me for a fresh new look, so that it would still fit in with its home.

This stunning G Plan " Quadrille" dressing table / desk is now available.
It is in excellent vintage condition with very few marks and knocks to the surface. I'll add these in the pictures
The mirror has a few minor imperfections.
The mirror is easy to remove if you wanted to use it with out.

A beautiful sideboard, dressing table , desk however you want to use it, it wouldn't look out of place in any room.
It comprises of 2 side cupboards and a central drawer.
This has as always been fully prepared by sanding priming and the painting in the beautiful colour that is " off black " from the Farrow & Ball eggshell range .
The top (also sanded) has been dark stained and varnished for protection to a smooth as silk finish.

😍🥰 FOR SALE 🥰😍

This fabulous set of retro drawers is now available.
They have been gently sanded back to remove old flaking varnish, I added this marvelous prima redesign tansfer call "Abstract Jungle" supplied by the lovely Helen from

legs repainted in black, as is the edge strip of the drawers to frame the beautiful centre and finally finished with a re-varnish. I also kept the original tear drop gold and black metal handles, as they are perfect for these drawers.
They would be a stunning centre piece in any home 😍

The service I offer is not only to breath new life into pieces that I've sourced but to also give your own furniture a new lease of life.
