It doesn’t have to be new to be awesome !Retro ice box for a cool camping trip. Large clock for the garden room . Wicker pendant lampshade for a coastal feel . Home made wooden stool & Kath Kidston top for playroom . Large basket light shade for the landing . Small lampshade for lounge . Floral fibreglass tray for the cottage . Copper flower vase for dining table ,garden table & gate for the back garden , that’s where I’d put all these things . I love a little wooden gate . A real mixture of things for lots of different places .

A couple of flowers, some blossom & a mix of foliage, all from the garden . Arranged in a vintage jar (see our website for lots more jars ) , simple but lovely I think , I always love a gathering of bits on the table , these represent the five elements .

We delivered a couple of pieces to a lovely couple today & had a look in their garden & home . They had vintage galvanised pieces as planters & collections , I really like the metal garden gates used as trellis for the rose planted in a dustbin to grow up & the veg crate as a little shelf . All these pieces are very us , & you can find similar on our website :) . It’s lovely to meet people who enjoy reusing & recycling pieces they find or inherit & making it their own & getting so much joy out of it . Truly an inspirational couple . you have

Triple pine wardrobe , it would look good painted a rich dark colour ! It’s got drawers of varying sizes ,hanging rails & a mirror . I don’t think you would need much else so it makes it space saving ! Maybe a bedside cabinet for a book & cup of tea .

Vintage retail pieces add so much character ,style & a homely feel to shops .I get so much pleasure out of buying pieces, especially for my daughter Lilly who owns & runs The wool gallery in st. Neots .
My favourite piece I got with her in mind ,is the metal black circular shelf unit displaying the cute ricorumi balls of wool . This came from a garden shop in Hampstead that was closing down , but good pieces are so versatile & last , having a new life in Lilly’s shop & looking great . The linen cupboard is also an excellent buy as we don’t really use them in our homes anymore, but it fits in her shop so well
