It is almost time to officially introduce and open the doors to Palompo’s. The name of the business ‘Palompo’s’ comes from my mother's maiden name. Her great grandfather moved over from Italy post second world war after their home in Cassino was destroyed. Although our family are now based in St Andrews, we all continue to celebrate Italian food and traditions to keep in touch with our heritage. My hope is to be able to share my love for, and experiences of the Italian culture.

Palompo’s is an authentic Italian themed espresso bar and take-away sandwich shop. Selling Italian ‘snacks’ such as; arancino, biscotti, chocolate torrone and ricarelli. It will also include a unique retail section, selling everything coffee related from Mokka’s to espresso cups and as well as Italian style prints, San Marzano tomatoes and other unique Italian products. Palompo’s will provide an authentic and personal experience with a feel and taste of Italy in the heart of a busy St. Andrews. ❤️

Juval- these are traditionally given as a wedding present - often made by the bridesmaids and always made in pairs-known as Dowry pieces.
