Don't forget tomorrow is the Great Summer Party being hosted by the Friends Of The Forum group.

Only £2.50 per person entrance and includes a buffet, a disco, games and prizes, tiddlywinks princesses, Jake and Spider-Man.

Crazy Ryan the magic man will be there too.

Where else could you get all that for just £2.50?

There will be a raffle on the day with some fabulous prizes!

Come along and join us if you can from 12noon to 5pm at the Cornerstone on Bournemouth Park Road.

Hello All

Once again - thank you so much for clicking YES to attend our fundraising meal :)

I really need to collect pennies this week and give people their tickets in order to pay the deposits and confirm numbers.

I can be available in town most days this week to meet people if that is easier.

Well this evening saw Father Christmas visit the Young Carers and Family Carers at Southend Carers forum.
After a last minute venue emergency, both Emily, Jo and Rachel saved the day!
A huge thank you to them or there would not have been a party.
A great big thank you to Kim, Louise, Irene, Maureen, Michelle, Rob, Topaz, Jude, Jessica, Clare and Rachel's volunteers and our wonderful face painter Catherine (apologies if I have forgotten anyone) for all their help tonight as we couldn't have done it without you.
Just as well we had plenty of hands and the second room as our planned 85 became nearly 120! Thank you all so much for helping to make the evening so special for all the children :)

The Fundraising team spread the Christmas Cheer today by paying for 53 Carers and loved ones to come along and share Christmas dinner together.

Well done to the Fundraising team who braved the cold and rain this morning to collect money at Asda Shoeburyness.

A fantastic £99.38 was raised.

Do you understand Personal Budgets?
Do you know what this will mean for parents of children with disabilities and SEN?
Do you want to shape how this will effect the parents in Southend and support other parents through the process?

There is a small focus group starting in September and they are looking for 2 or 3 parent carers to join our two other volunteers.

If you would like to be a part of the focus group or would like further information then please do let me know.
