dining chairs, pouffes, chaise longue etc). Cushions re stuffed (feathers, foam, wadding)
History. Furniture making has run in the Cox family for several generations. Ron Cox started
making furniture for mainly Indian restaurants in the mid seventies and through word of
mouth
in the Bangladeshi community he was soon a very busy man indeed. With simple but strong designs he gained a reputation as a maker of solid, long
lasting furniture at a reasonable price. Ron Cox is my dad and I joined him in
1994 and together we worked till the year 2000 when he retired. I then took
over the business continuing to make furniture for restaurants, pubs and bars
and domestic clients too. It has been tough competing with cheap imports etc
and at one point I did give it all up but now i'm back and ready to continue
the business and make the Cox family proud again!
