The 'After' party!

Looking fresh and vibrant after shedding its thick dark old-fashioned varnish, this piece was treated to a good ole rub-down, then a nourishing wax for the top and a coat of modern Farrow & Ball Cornforth White paint, to give it an up-to-date feel.

Looking pretty, it's just been redelivered to its excited owners, to live its best life in their beautiful newly decorated home.

It's been a while since I've painted, but still like to keep my brushes wet. This heavy piece, complete with heavy dark varnish overcoat, came in for a face-lift last week.

All finished and looking pretty, I've just returned it to its delighted owners.

I finished work on this standard pine bedroom furniture set today, painted in ever-fashionable Farrow & Ball Stiffkey Blue but retaining a nod to its origins keeping the natural grain on the tops and drawer k***s.

A most satisfying upcycling commission that is going to look fabulous back in my client's home. 😍
