A recently delivered desk for a home office, made from dusty old reclaimed floorboards and steel.

The boards were precisely jointed and glued to create a tight strong joint along their length.

They were then distressed further using a bunch of keys and chains, 😬 poor thing.

Then painted black and sanded off again, to bare wood, to preserve the black paint in the impressions.

We're a couple of days into a really interesting project for a customer in Chalkwell.
The commission is for a pergola to the back garden, which we've designed to closely match architectural details to the front of the property, including tapered posts and intricate lattice work.

The client wanted something to be in keeping with the period of the house and to be a little out of the ordinary.
