Happy 70th Birthday to the Legend that is our Tommy! 🎉🥳🎂 Here’s a little poem, just for you 💚
The Legend of the Yard
In ‘65 the gates swung wide, a legacy begun,
Then Tommy joined aged seventeen, a worker second to none.
From Grandad’s day to modern times, he’s seen the eras pass,
Making panels, built to last!
He’s the king of every forklift, the master of the yard,
Managing the orders when work gets fast and hard.
But don’t let his muscles fool you, he’s a softie at his core,
Feeding every office dog and yard cat at the door.
He arrives before sunrise to get the fire bright,
With a smile that warms the office like a glowing beacon light.
Three generations he has served—the ultimate NFF star,
Without you we wouldn’t know who or where we are!
And now he’s got his wife Rosie here to keep him in his lane,
The pair of them together make the NFF domain.
So cheers to seventy years of life, and fifty-three of toil,
The finest vintage character on British fencing soil!
