The Upholstery Tutor Providing tuition in the craft of traditional upholstery. Based in a rural setting in Warwickshire I specialise in antique furniture restoration and repair.

Restoring all types of furniture, large and small, using traditional techniques and materials. My services include a variety of skills such as cabinetmaking, French polishing, veneering, marquetry, turning and carving. Traditional upholstery is also undertaken including rush and cane seating.

Peter White Furniture has been in business for 20 years, restoring and upholstering antique furniture. Now, in my upholstery studio, and under the name of 'The upholstery tutor', I offer upholstery courses where students will learn to upholster their own chair using traditional techniques and materials. Based in a rural setting overlooking the Warwickshire countryside. This is a friendly environment where they work at their own pace and socialise with their fellow students. With low student to tutor numbers to ensure they have tuition and guidance all through their project. My courses are suitable for all levels of ability, especially beginners.
