From tired and dated to completely transformed. ✨

This old tub chair had definitely seen better days. The original upholstery was worn and damaged, but the frame still had plenty of life left in it.

For this makeover, we combined two contrasting fabrics – a luxurious deep teal velvet paired with a striking floral and hummingbird designer fabric. The combination adds character and creates a completely unique piece that stands out while still looking elegant.

A great example of how reupholstery allows you to create something truly bespoke rather than settling for off-the-shelf furniture.

A true statement piece.

This elegant armchair and footstool set arrived with tired upholstery and was ready for a complete transformation.

The client selected a stunning designer fabric from Glasgow’s own Timorous Beasties, pairing its bold floral design with the classic curves of the frame to create something truly unique. The frame was refinished and the upholstery completely renewed, bringing this beautiful piece back to life.

Projects like this are a perfect example of how traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design can work together to create furniture that simply can’t be bought off the shelf.

A bespoke bay window seat cushion we recently completed, and what a difference it has made to this beautiful space.

Designed and made to fit the large curved bay perfectly, the cushion creates a comfortable seating area while complementing the character of the room. The soft neutral fabric works beautifully with the natural light and surrounding décor.

As you can see from the photos, it seems to have earned the dog’s seal of approval too! 🐾

Without doubt, two of the largest chairs I’ve ever upholstered.

These incredible statement pieces have been fully reupholstered in a luxurious designer bouclé fabric, creating a truly striking look that perfectly suits their unique design.

I thoroughly enjoyed working on these chairs. In all my years of upholstery, I’ve never come across another pair quite like them, and I doubt I ever will again!

The finished result looks stunning in their new home and the client was absolutely delighted.

Couldn’t decide between plain or patterned fabric? Why not have both?

This customer loved both fabrics but simply couldn’t choose between them.

Rather than compromise, I suggested combining the two to create a bespoke two-tone wing chair that would give them the best of both worlds.

The rich plum fabric on the front creates a bold, elegant look, while the patterned fabric on the outside adds character and interest from every angle.

To finish the job, I also fitted new Reflex seat foam to improve comfort and support, ensuring the chair feels as good as it looks.

I think the finished result speaks for itself.

This chair was discovered in a charity shop and, despite being tired, worn and heavily damaged, the customer loved its shape and character and couldn’t leave it behind.

They brought it into the workshop and asked if it could be given a new lease of life. After a full reupholstery in this stunning tartan fabric, the transformation speaks for itself.

From torn and worn-out to stylish, comfortable and ready for many more years of use.

The customer was absolutely delighted with the finished result – and so were we.
