The company is one of the country’s leading manufacturers of contract curtains and soft furnishings, as well as a supplier and installer of contract flooring and commercial interior fit-out and finish services.

The business operates through two divisions within the hotel, hospitality, residential, and new build sectors, both across the UK and internationally. Additionally, the fit-out and finish division serves many blue-chip companies throughout the UK.

Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey with one of the UK's leading suppliers and installers of contract flooring?

We are looking for a passionate, highly motivated and driven individual with a passion for transforming homes and building lasting impressions along the way.

We’d love to hear from you if you have :
- Hardworking, reliable work ethic with excellent communication skills
- Proactively taking steps to enhance the customer/client experience
- Administrative tasks including completing sign offs and issuing your invoices on time
- You will need to be HMRC Construction Industry Scheme registered
- Ensuring your PPE is worn and used correctly
- Well-presented with excellent attention to detail
- Experience in floor preparation
- Experience in screeding / Ply boarding
- Experience in fitting glue down LVT – Amtico / Karndean to include tile & strip, herringbone & XL Plank
- Experience in fitting Carpets
- Experience in fitting Vinyl
- Experience in laying commercial floors
- A valid CSCS Card is required
- You must have your own van and tools
- You must be able to collect your work for the day from our warehouse in Solihull

Areas covered include the West Midlands, East Midlands, Warwickshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, and Worcestershire

🏆 A kick for a cause! ⚽

Last Saturday the Wattrus team took part in a charity 7-a-side football match organised by MK Health Hub. With 9 passionate players in the squad, demonstrating grit, teamwork, and determination, we are proud to announce we secured an impressive 2nd place finish against a competitive field of talent.

Most importantly, this match was all about making a difference. All player contributions went towards supporting the incredible work of Birmingham Children's Hospital, a cause close to our hearts. 💙

A huge thank you to MK Health Hub for organising such a brilliant event and giving us the chance to combine our passion for football with supporting such a worthy cause.

Here's to teamwork, passion and impact on and off the pitch! 🙌⚽

Can you believe it's been 3 years already? 😯

In 2021, we installed a defibrillator at our site, made possible through the sponsorship we raised when many of us took on the challenge of the Wolf Run 🐺🏃‍♂️. It's amazing to see what we can achieve together when we rally behind a cause that truly matters!

This life-saving device is directly linked to the emergency services 🚑.

If our defib happens to be the closest one in an emergency, the caller will be provided with the necessary code to access it. This means it's not just here for our peace of mind, but it's also a vital resource for the surrounding community. In those critical moments, having quick access to a defibrillator can make all the difference 💓.

We’re proud to play our part in enhancing safety for everyone in our area!

The flooring team has finished yet another house at Mortimer Manor - Plot 1 by Owl Homes, and the results are stunning.

🔧 Prep: Ardex CL Latex to downstairs areas - 6mm Plyboard upstairs areas
🔨Underlay: 8mm Cosi PU Underlap
🏠Product: Amtico Sun Bleached Oak XL, Nordic Oak XL, Abingdon Grey Fox carpet

Our entire team is thrilled to announce our latest nationwide contract with Housing 21! 🎉

Housing 21 is a leading not-for-profit provider of Care and Retirement Living for older people. They operate in 240 local authority areas, managing over 23,000 properties. And guess what... They have chosen Wattrus Group to refurbish the window treatments in their properties! 🏘️

We will work closely with their in-house design team to bring their ideas to life with a mixture of curtains, blinds, and cushions. ✨

In June, our Flooring team went to the ARDEX UK training facility in Stoke on Trent. 🏠

They found it very interesting to learn about different products and how to use them and when to use them depending on the scenarios and the subfloor conditions.

This training helps them gain further knowledge and understanding around the area for us to make sure we are correctly preparing subfloors, especially within our industry. It's important to get the foundation work correct the first time. 🛠️

We would like to thank the entire team at Ardex for receiving us for this training!

Another great project completed by our Wattrus Team! 💪

Even after years in the industry, we still get surprised by some amazing (and unconventional!) windows, and this is a perfect example!

A few weeks ago, our client asked us to create some beautiful curtains in a very unique shape to adorn these one-of-a-kind windows in a stunning property near Kidderminster. 🏡

We used the exquisite Casablanca range from Bancroft Soft Furnishings Ltd for the fabric, adding a touch of luxury and elegance. 🪡

Let's just say our team rose to the challenge and absolutely smashed it! 🔥
