With each House Clearance we do, it's important to ensure we sort though old paperwork to find important and valuable documents, and on occasions we find interesting historic items which can bring back memories or tell their own story, here's some items found recently, Old black and white photo of the drawing office, Constructive Department, Chatham Dockyard, possibly 50's/60's era, a 1973 black and white picture of the tutors at the Royal Navy College Greenwich with their names attached, The Dreadnought School (Woolwich) 1911 Christmas Greetings from the Headmaster with the School Carol 'Xmas Bells', Butlin's advertisement 60's era, with picture of Billy Butlin, for those who remember Allders of Bromley and Croydon, signed pictures of Larry Grayson and Isla St Clair from their visit, 8th June 1946, message to school children from King George VI following the end of the Second World War, and lastly Kent Messenger page showing the 2400 flying bombs that fell in Kent in the summer of 1944.
