One thing's for certain at Silsden Gala this year... nobody is going home hungry!

We're delighted to welcome a fantastic selection of food traders serving up everything from sweet treats to savoury favourites, including:

🍕 Roccafire Pizza's famous stone-baked pizzas
🌯 R**t Yorkshire Food's award-winning jams, chutneys, marmalades, relishes and curds
🍫 The Little Fudge Company and their irresistible handmade fudge
🍪 Crumbs with brownies, blondies, cakes and traybakes galore
☕ Toni's Tipples serving coffees, teas and delicious sweet treats
🥧 Jack's Pies with traditional cold pies, sausage rolls and refreshments
🍩 Chunky Churros bringing fresh, sugary goodness
🍯 Herd & Hive with local honey and handmade goat's milk soaps

And if that's not enough, there'll be even more hot food available throughout the day from the funfair too! 🎡🍔🌭

We've worked hard to bring together a great mix of local favourites and quality independent traders for 2026, and we're incredibly excited about what's coming. We've also already got some fantastic food vendors expressing interest for next year, which is a real sign of how the Gala is growing and attracting attention from far and wide.

For now though, let's focus on this year's mouth-watering line-up... because it's shaping up to be a cracker! 😋

MEET THE TEAM 👋

This is Taylor, a new member of the committee this year and the person looking after the Gala’s social media marketing this year 📲 (yes I'm writing this post in 3rd person...)

Born in Silsden and now working locally at Wilman & Lodge, Taylor joined because she didn’t want to see such a long-standing community event fade away when there was a chance to help grow it instead.

Big ambitions? Absolutely 👀
Bigger crowds, better atmosphere, amazing food vendors, exciting stalls, more entertainment and a Gala people stay at all day long.

No pressure… but that’s exactly the kind of atmosphere we want on the Buskers Stage at Silsden Gala 2026.

We’re looking for singers, musicians, bands, acoustic acts and entertainers who can bring real energy to the field. The kind of performances that make people stay longer, sing louder and ask, “Where can we hear them again?”

Whether you perform every weekend or just fancy stepping out in front of a proper local crowd, this is your chance to be part of one of Silsden’s biggest community events. 🎶🔥

🚨 Parents of little ones, this is BIG. 🚨

We are SO excited to announce that the wonderful Hartbeeps will be joining our brand new dedicated Children’s Area at Silsden Gala 2026! 🥹✨

If you’ve never experienced Hartbeeps before, imagine a magical world full of music, imagination, sensory play, storytelling, puppets, movement, props, songs, laughter and pure chaos in the very best way possible 😂🎶🌈

Led by the lovely Amy, Hartbeeps sessions are designed to get little imaginations running wild through interactive adventures, catchy songs, themed story times and hands-on play experiences that babies, toddlers and young children absolutely LOVE.

Throughout the day, families will be able to enjoy:
✨ Interactive story time adventures
🎵 Fun singalongs and music sessions
🫧 Sensory and imaginative play set ups
🎭 Puppets, props and themed activities
💃 Movement, dancing and interactive games
🌈 Calm moments for little ones away from the busy field

This is exactly why we wanted a dedicated younger children’s area this year. Somewhere families can properly settle in, relax and let the little ones PLAY, explore and enjoy the day instead of doing one lap of the field before heading home 😅

Trust us… if your child loves music, imagination and getting involved, they are going to be absolutely glued to this 😍

The countdown is on ... Two weeks until Silsden's Christmas Fair and this year it's bigger and better than ever. We have joined forces with The Hive Community Centre who are running outdoor activities throughout the day on Briggate.

Join us in The Town Hall from 10:00am on Sunday 30th November for Christmas Shopping, Competitions and Prizes, Refreshments and the ever popular Santas Grotto.

From 4:15 there will be carol singing at The Bandstand before we switch on the tree Lights to signify that Christmas has come to town.
