Been a while since we've uploaded anything. Here's a big job we completed in April last year. Removal of landing, stairs and hallway carpet. We then installed 9mm sp101 ply to the landing. With Stairrods UK Ltd divider around the perimeter of the gallery landing. With matching powder coated black trims in the doorways. Amtico keystone was then laid on the landing, half landing and hallway all to match. Downstairs we uncovered a lovely old tile floor. However this was just laid on sand with no dpm due to the age of the property. So this all got uplifted and a new concrete base with dpm was installed. After the given time, we then used F Ball and Co Ltd 1200 and f77 to do a dpm sandwhich. And then installed the remainder if the keystone to the hall and then amtico decor to the inner hallway as a statement entrance peice. On the stairs, because they were in bad shape we had to over ply the stairs. Instead of plying and then leaving edge open to see, we used shims to eliminate this. Then they were fitted with Crucial Trading grand herringbone fossil sisal carpet, and stair rods to match. We also continued this flooring into the lift shaft with matching trims.

Possibly one of the most involved jobs I have done but the outcome is truly amazing!

A nice before and after of a job a few weeks back. What a difference! Much easier to maintain. Decided to go with a change of direction from the hallway to the lounge to suit the layout. No break in the flooring required. Edges all re bevelled to suit. Product was Amtico Spacia Royal Oak in the large plank.

Another job undertaken a while ago. Amtico spacia parquet - black walnut. And Victoria Carpets Tudor twist mohair. A few pics of before and after to have a look through to show the process.

Matching black walnut thresholds where fitted to finish off to hallway. In order to do this. The ceramic tiles were cut back to the correct place before hand. It's the little things that finish a job off. Also the edges of the stairs where sanded back and re oiled to give a more uniform finish before laying the carpet on the landing and having the stairs as a runner. Really love the finish of this.

Lounge and hallway finished it Amtico Spacia pale ash. This job was in a new build over underfloor heating. First we primed the base, then used F Ball and Co Ltd stopgap 1200. Nice to do a big area and nice to see it perfectly matched up around the pillar.

A nice small but intricate job we did a few weeks back now. Amtico Spacia parquet in royal oak. Laid with a traditional two block border in keeping with another room that already had this pattern. Finished off with a solid oak threshold to suit the change in levels and stained to match. Love the parquet effect and becoming very popular! Keep your eyes peeled for another coming up soon too!

Our last job this year finished off this week. Cavalier carpets - millstone, colour queen. In a hall, stairs and landing. Hall and landings plyed to obtain a smooth base. All finished off with CAT metals in a satin chrome finish to all doorways. Wishing all our customers a very merry Christmas! We will reopen on January 7th.

A hallway and w/c completed recently. All in one piece with no joins. A very effective pattern that is proving very popular. Another happy customer.

A job we recently undertook. Uplift of the old pink plain carpet. We then replaced all the underlay. Followed by fitting Brintons Carpets Abbotsford in rust kilgour. Definetly worth the hard work in the end to see all the pattern lined up. This was no easy task but well worth it for the final product.
