Come and spoil yourself with luxury bed linen and towels. Only 180 paces into town and the seafront The cottage was originally part of the church hall built in 1846 for the United Reformed Church. In 2021 it was converted into two cottages by a local, high quality craftsman and the building is now protected under the Sidmouth Town Centre designated Conservation Area. We like and appreciate both t
he history and character of the property and trust you do too. We have spoken to local people who remember holding meetings in the Chapel Hall not that long ago! The Marsh Chapel plaque is from another Sidmouth Chapel which was located in the Ham area of Sidmouth. Unfortunately Marsh Chapel has long since been demolished. We also understand that the chimney in the courtyard was also from the same chapel. The cottage is a two bedroomed property and can sleep 4 people, we have one room with a king size bed, the second room has two single beds. There is a shower room upstairs with a toilet, and also a toilet downstairs. The downstairs kitchen/diner/lounge is open plan. There is fast Wi-Fi and free Netflix available. The cottage is in the centre of Sidmouth, but in a very quiet area, but close enough to walk easily to the shops, bars and restaurants. There is a designated free parking space for one small to medium car, and this is essential in busy periods.
