I’ve been quiet — what a whirlwind it’s been.
Last year, my heart was broken. I ended 2024 on my own, with two little ones depending on me to keep their world steady.
But 2025 began with a new sense of self, a shift in mindset, and a promise to finally put myself first. Then I met someone new — someone I’d known of, but never truly known — and I fell in love. My heart healed. Our family grew, with two beautiful bonus children joining our lives.
All the while, Dad continues his fight with cancer, pushing through almost two years of chemo with incredible strength. I spent a couple of tough months battling plantar fasciitis, but after a steroid injection, I’m finally on the mend. And somewhere in the midst of all of this… we got engaged.
So here’s to 2026 — I can’t wait to see what comes next.
