~Commission~

When my lovely client Jane, brought this vintage Lloyd Loom chair in, it had previously been painted with a white gloss which caused a few patchy bits within the weave that unfortunately couldn't be undone, however Jane didnt mind that as it was part of her family history!
Jane asked me to repaint it choosing the colour 'Olivia' from the Frenchic inside/outside range... appropriately named, mid-toned, brownish-green, that oozes pared back sophistication, wonderfully grounding, with a hint of heritage, which matched the William Morris material that I used to make the cushion.

Hi everyone!

Well, I did say it was a BIG commission and that's exactly what it was! 😍

All of the units are painted in Al Fresco inside/outside range
'Boho Berry' a warm, mesmerising dark purple, and 'Liquorice' from the Trim paint range, a deeply dark brown, reminiscent of yesteryear's sweetshop liquorice, was blended on the tops and sides, to give a leather look effect.
The detail, was painted using 'Olivia' from the Al Fresco range, a mid-tone, brownish-green, and
Highlighted with Gorgeous Gold then an all over finish with Browning Wax.
