There are 5 Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC's) in Sheffield. These are provided for Sheffield residents who dispose of household waste from their own home such as bulky items, garden waste, electrical or electronic equipment, furniture and lots more. Residents carrying out renovations or who have construction waste should hire a skip rather than take this to a HWRC. Residents visiting a HWRC in a van or with a trailer will need a permit or permission for a one off visit before being allowed on site.
