The Workshop-Selby Community Furniture Store The Workshop Selby, is your home for Shabby-chic and painted furniture.

The workshop offers placements for people who are either in long term unemployment or varying degrees of disability. The ethics of the workshop project are to help people with disabilities, to build confidence in the long term unemployed and overall to give everybody who attends our workshops a good work ethic and pride in themselves and the work produced. We also offer our work to the general pub

lic, by painting, sanding and distressing furniture to the customer’s specification. Customers can buy furniture from the community furniture store to be painted by the workshop, we can also do customers own furniture. We also offer to deliver all customers orders and collect any furniture that customers want painting. Our showroom and workshops are located at the back of the community furniture store in Selby. Our showroom is open to the general public, the showroom contains furniture already done by the workshop project for sale and to show examples of items we can do.
