This is how I prepare a sofa for resale
Video to follow

1. CLEAN THOROUGHLY

* Vacuum all surfaces, including under cushions and crevices.
* Remove pet hair with tool or rubber glove.
* Spot-clean stains using a fabric-safe upholstery cleaner.
* Allow the sofa to dry completely before photographing or storing.

2. MAKE MINOR REPAIRS

* Tighten loose legs or hardware.
* Sew small tears or loose seams if possible.

3. IMPROVE PRESENTATION

* Fluff and replace/reshape cushions.
* Straighten covers and seams.
* Place the sofa in a bright, uncluttered space.

5. TAKE GOOD PHOTOS & a VIDEO

* Highlight any issues/stains or damage
*Price accordingly
