Companion planting is basically “good neighbors” in the garden. The goal is simpler than it sounds: mix plants that don’t compete the same way and that can help each other out. 🌿
A few beginner-friendly reminders:
• Give each crop enough space and sunlight first. Crowding cancels the benefits. ☀️
• Herbs can attract helpful insects, but some (like dill) can bolt fast in heat.
• Mint is best in a pot near peas, not loose in the bed. It spreads fast! 🪴
Small changes like this can mean fewer pests and steadier harvests over the season.
