The additional memorial board designed, made and donated by Geoffrey Warwick for St Michaels Church, St Albans. In commemoration of 5 local St Albans men who gave their lives in World War 1 ,but whose names were not added to the original. It was blessed by Bishop Steven Venner on Sunday 9th September and was hung today.
The memorial was made entirely by hand in solid oak and the design incorporates elements from the original.

In Period Living Magazine October .... contacted by three production companies so far this month asking if I was interested in being in antique and restoration related programmes….. I just don’t have the time!!!!

Victorian Sideboard after restoration. The top of the base unit was replaced with matching period Victorian timber and the whole piece totally re-polished with a very happy customer at the end ... :)

THE DANGER OF CANDLES.....
Just collected a Victorian Sideboard for restoration.
Thought I would share the photograph the client took a few days before she decided to light the candles and then the photographs of what can happen if you leave the room for a couple of minutes after you have lit them !!

Last 2 weeks I have had 2 phone calls from TV producers to see if I was interested in appearing in TV programs, one as an advisor for antiques and the other on restoration where they wanted to follow me around, why is it when you are sooo busy these offers come in .... I had to say no !! Though the thought of TV fame was sort of appealing.....
