A trip to Felixstowe was the unlikely inspiration for Carrington Antiques, as I watched countless container ships bringing goods to these shores from far away places. It made me think about the environmental impact and in particular, about the throwaway society that fuels this need. Being passionate about good quality furniture, I decided to form a business in which pieces are thoughtfully restored to their former glory, embracing the three 'R' ethos of 'Restore, Recycle and Reuse'.

A friend has two antique tailor’s/haberdasher’s units for sale. The larger counter has an inset brass ruler, date stamped 1928 (George V) and is solid oak (74x26x37 inches). The smaller table is solid oak, pitch pine and beech (52x26x37 inches). A unique opportunity to purchase two fabulous pieces. Please contact me asap if interested.

Ready for a new dining room - 1930’s solid oak drop leaf table, which will comfortably seat 4-6 people, but folds down if required. The top has been stripped, re-stained and French polished and the base cleaned and waxed.
