🌸 Spring Exhibition Launch – Starting April 25th 🌸

We’re delighted to invite you to our Spring Group Exhibition, featuring the work of five talented local makers showcasing a beautiful mix of creativity and craftsmanship.

📅 Launch Day: April 25th
Join us for opening day with drinks, chocolates, and a warm welcome as we celebrate the start of the exhibition.

🖼️ The exhibition will then be open every day until May 9th.

✨ All of the makers will be at the shop at various times throughout the exhibition, so you’ll have the chance to meet them, chat, and learn more about their work.

It’s been a busy few weeks preparing for our spring exhibition at the shop but it’s all coming together now to set up this week.

With the title of our exhibition being Bloom, I have designed two new colour ways to sit alongside my most recent fabrics. Choosing mohair again for this collection I’ve woven a neutral range but in two shades of mohair with beautiful natural flecks, then a Killala green, which is the most perfect spring green again in mohair to give that extra texture.

A couple of days will be spent next week sewing some cushions and then we bring all of our work together for our opening day on Saturday the 25th.

There will be bubbly and chocolates so come along with a friend and have a browse.

The shop is open as normal Thursday and Friday and then we’ll be open everyday day from Saturday the 25th to May the 9th.

We’re delighted to welcome visiting exhibitor Sadie Copus to our Bloom Exhibition. A talented Herefordshire-based lampwork glass artist. We’re so pleased to have her collection as part of this year’s exhibition.

Based in Herefordshire, Sadie
Copus is a lampwork glass artist
specialising in handmade beads
and contemporary jewellery. Using
traditional techniques, she melts and
shapes glass around metal mandrels,
layering colours and creating unique
designs – no two beads are ever
the same.
Once kiln-annealed for durability, Sadie combines her beads
with other found and semi-precious beads to create bold,
modern jewellery and decorative pieces. Her work blends
art and fashion, ideal for those who appreciate distinctive
accessories.
Her passion for jewellery began in childhood, inspired by her
mum’s and granny’s collections. She continues to seek out
new inspirations, often returning from her travels with unique
finds. She has a long-standing love for colour – something
reflected in every piece she creates – so her jewellery is a
celebration of creativity and self-expression, designed for
those who love bold, unique pieces.
When she’s not at her torch, Sadie has a successful career
in music publishing. A classically trained musician, she plays
the saxophone and flute and enjoys singing a ca****la.
