We recently supplied our aluminium decking and soffit systems for a new build project in Egham, Surrey, completed by our trusted partners Alu Installations on behalf of housebuilder Troy Homes.

The project covered three balconies — and came with a bespoke challenge. The structural steels were already in place, so our team worked together to engineer a solution that suited the structure as built.

Here's what was delivered:
- Bespoke wrap-around gutter system designed to collect water and protect steel posts from corrosion

- Aluminium decking boards and balcony soffit system installed across all three balconies
- Non-combustible, low-maintenance finish meeting current building regulations
- All three balconies completed on time and signed off ahead of handover

AliDeck recently supplied products for a balcony remediation project at Corsica Street, London, with our partners Alu Installations appointed as Principal Contractor. Working on behalf of the client, Origin, the project covered both the front inset and rear cantilevered balconies across the block.

Once the existing decking was stripped back, the extent of the issues became clear. The original timber was rotten, structurally unsound, and not fire compliant. Leaks had also caused further damage beneath, meaning all existing waterproofing and timber had to be fully removed before any new system could go in. Alu Installations carried out surveys to fully understand the structure before installing our Eco Joists and Junior Ridged Boards to the front balconies, and Low Joists with Junior Boards to the rear, replacing a failing timber system with a compliant, low-maintenance aluminium solution.

At AliDeck, we supply non-combustible aluminium balcony components that meet all current building regulations. Where timber rots, leaks, and poses a fire risk, our A-rated aluminium systems offer a long-term, low-maintenance alternative that won't need replacing again.
