My name is Joe and as you might have guessed, I fix stuff. I have almost 20 years' experience in general and electrical repair. Even longer than that, if you include all the toys and radios I dismantled as a kid 😂 It's always been one of my passions and my insatiable curiosity has only driven that experience daily. ith problems longer." Anyone who has ever driven a car will know that theory is much different to practice. My belief is that a repair shouldn't cost as much, or more, than the item being repaired. After having used services in the past, waiting weeks for a repairman, having it damaged even further because of carelessness or being charged an extortionate amount of money for work that was minimal, I decided to start doing it myself. I don't run a massive shop or facility for one quite simple reason, it saves you money! There are no overheads, no salaries, no utlities... just a guy that fixes stuff. This means you aren't paying for anything other than the service you've been provided. I operate in my home; with all the tools I need and without the added cost to you. Each service or repar is treated with the same care and attention, as if it were my own. Up until now I've focused on organising things so that it operates more efficiently and so the real boss dosn't murder me for spending every waking moment with my head in a dryer 😅

It’s been a while! Since we last saw each other I’ve been working diligently to expand my portfolio and learn more so I can do more 😁 My newest passion is upcycling and furniture restoration. I love it and my hope is that it translates into the furniture I do. So after lots of learning, lots of practice, lots of mistakes, lots of injuries, and some fantastic success, I’m happy to say that it’s a service I offer! I’m not the greatest at remembering to take before and after images. I’m also going to have to get some better lighting and filming tools 😂 But this is a Bush dryer. Was working fine, customer has noticed a steady decline in not only it’s effectiveness, but also in its overall health. Leaking, a hissing noise, dirty water in the reservoir and the most concerning is that it has begun tripping the fuse panel. The video is my first look, followed by some images as I start the tear down process to prepare for a full service.

Just a part of the servicing process. Here I am doing a deep clean on each individual area of the internal circuitry. These areas are cleaned and then tested to ensure they are operating normally.

Over time dust a debris accumulates inside our devices. This causes a degradation of its capabilities, as well as increases the potential for an eventual breakdown.
