At 35 weeks pregnant with my first, I'd got everything set up and felt ready. But looking back, I was nowhere near.
In reality, the things that really could have made a difference to how smoothly things went for me weren't on the standard baby prep list.
Yes, I'd thought about the crib, the bouncer, the pram.
What I hadn't thought about was:
my body
my recovery
my support network
my mindset
my pelvic floor
my mum community
My first birth and postpartum would have been transformed if I'd have known to even think about these in advance.
Who knows how good it would have been if I'd known about the people or organisations who could help me when I needed them.
In short, the challenges I faced were avoidable.
As a doula, that makes me mad.
Which is why I've created 'The Bumo & Baby Booster'ch checklist, the birth-prep checklist that focuses on the needs of the mums, not just the baby.
It's free and it's game-changing.
Why? Because you don't deserve to struggle like I did.

I hope it helps,
