The aim of Creative Thinking is to support adults who learn differently (learning disabilities, mental health, aspergers, autism). We provide a safe, relaxing supportive environment where our artists/service users, can socialise, make friends, gain communication skills and build confidence. They will be supported and supervised by qualified and experienced staff members and supportive volunteers.
We aim to provide a safe inclusive environment where our artists are able to express themselves and their ideas and know they will be heard and respected. Our artists are encouraged to use their imagination and we celebrate their talents and abilities. At Creative Thinking support services we take a person centered approach with our artists. On a daily basis artists can choose an activity and staff will help them to facilitate this. Below is small variety of projects artists have previously chosen to do:
•Drawing and painting
•Sewing and knitting
•Felting
•Model making
•Use of computers, laptops and tablets
•Card making
•5d diamond pictures
And much more
