Hand made wall clock constructed using a reclaimed barrel strap finished in satin black.
Brown pippy elm is the timber choice here which works really well on a variety of backgrounds, especially an open brickwork wall.
The second hand sweeps and doesn’t tick so there’s no annoying background noise.

🌳 Extremely excited to share this pippy oak dining table, with an aqua, pearlescent resin.

With over 60 litres of resin in this table, it’s one of the heaviest dining tables this size that we’ve completed.

Resting on a custom star base. Bespoke dining tables just don’t get better than this. We had the base powder coated in a gloss chrome which reflects the surrounding blues in the room 😍.

What a stunning video to receive yesterday!

Once again we worked closely with our client deciding on what timber would best suit their budget and boast the most character.

We both decided that spalted beech would be perfect. With the addition of added bow ties, a traditional method to stabilise cracks and checks, these two huge slabs have been reworked into a pair of stunning, sliding barn doors.

It was an absolute privilege to work on these and a huge reward to see them hung in their forever home!

✅ After the very time consuming process of cleaning the waney edges on these boards, we are ready for the resin pour!

The debarking and cleaning is one of the most challenging aspects on these tables. However you find the more cleaning involved, the more detailed the outcome will be.

It’s such an intricate process but the rewards are huge!

Just take a look at the pippy oak edges and see for yourself how detailed this 8 seater is going to be.

Just wait for the resin pour! 😅🧐

❌Delivery day!!❌

I’m like a kid in a sweet shop 😍!

4 beautiful slabs for 2 separate commissions.

✅ Shown below are 2 stunning slabs of spalted beech, waiting to become a pair of sliding, rustic barn doors.

✅ Alongside them are 2 outstanding slabs of pippy oak, full of character and burrs. These will be transformed into one of the most detailed resin tables to date.

So now the exciting part starts…. Sanding, and lots of it 😅.

✅We plan to cut it right down the middle and turn the waney edges inwards, thus giving the effect of a river.

✅Not only that, we specifically chose this slab for the voids so they can be filled with resin to create pools of resin. Adding to the ‘river table’ theme.
