This month, Boss Design made a compelling case for slowing down, thinking longer-term and bringing craftsmanship back into the centre of the conversation.⁠

Alongside the launch of new collections including Lucy, Nya, and Lumae, the brand introduced a circularity message through The Loop. This programme extends furniture life through repair, reupholstery, reuse, and responsible stewardship.⁠
⁠
The standout idea? Upholstered furniture shouldn’t be disposable.⁠
⁠
The new Lucy Lounge Chair has been engineered so its upholstery can be removed and replaced entirely in situ, without tools and without the product ever leaving the building. It’s a subtle but significant rethink of how commercial furniture can evolve alongside changing interiors rather than being discarded because fabrics wear or schemes change.⁠

Across the showroom, there was a clear sense that innovation and longevity no longer need to sit separately from comfort, beauty or craftsmanship.⁠
