The business as it is now, started back in January 2017. Jeremy was working flat out, fitting for the good local kitchen companies, and I was a buyer for a shop fitting company, working with companies such as Starbucks. Our first project as DKAB came about over beans on toast one supper time after a crazily long day at work. A customer wh
o Jeremy had fitted a kitchen for some years previously got in touch to see if he would consider fitting a new dream bedroom. This happened quite often, and still does - 90% of our customers are recommended by others! Anyone that's worked with Jeremy, knows that when they want something new, he'd just sort everything out for them. If I remember rightly, it was the third consecutive night of Jeremy putting the plan under my nose, to come up with a design when I finally gave in and sketched a layout. The customer (Angela) loved it, but we hit a wall as none of the shops could supply it the way we had in our minds. That's when my buying skills and Jeremy’s technical knowledge came into play, and we had it manufactured ourselves.
